BCREA’s Position on Water Governance

Effective governance of water resources is essential to the health and prosperity of the province. With responsibility for various aspects of water spread across several ministries, decisions, policies and legislation are ineffective and inefficient within the province and when working with the federal government.

• Create one ministry to manage all aspects of water.
• Enforce standards consistently at the regional level.
