Before changing careers, many people question whether they are suited to the real estate industry, and the lifestyle of a salesperson. The Real Estate Sales Aptitude Test (RESAT) is designed to give you an opportunity to decide whether to pursue a career in real estate sales.

The aptitude test is available to anyone considering entering the real estate profession. It provides some indication of the likelihood of your sales potential.

Test results are reported only to individual participants and are not available to the licensing authorities. Ultimately, the decision to pursue a career in real estate must be made by the applicant alone.

If you wish to take the test, complete and mail/fax the RESAT Application Form, together with payment (made payable to the British Columbia Real Estate Association) in the amount of $36.75 ($35 plus $1.75 GST). Your test results will be mailed to you within 3-4 weeks.

Please note: Because the test was developed using BC experiences, it is potentially helpful only to those individuals educated in Canada or whose background is North American.
