Wes McMillan, B. Comm., LL.B.
Wes McMillan is a native of Winnipeg. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with his B.Comm (Hons.) before attending law school at Dalhousie University. Since graduating he has taught courses for several associations including the Mortgage Brokers of British Columbia, the Society of Notaries and the Condominium Home Owners' Association of BC.
Wes is a lawyer with Hakemi & Ridgedale, LLP in Vancouver. His focus is on real estate litigation. Prior to joining his present firm, Wes was the associate chair of the commercial litigation and real estate practice groups of a large downtown Vancouver law firm. He has represented home owners, buyers, sellers, real estate licensees, property managers, strata corporations, contractors and developers in all manners of real estate and construction disputes. Wes is very knowledgeable and highly energetic and is often interviewed by print, television and radio media regarding various real estate topics such as condominium and lease disputes. He also acts for licensees in respect of complaints before the Real Estate Council of British Columbia.
Wes is a member of the Canadian Bar Association - BC Branch. Wes teaches, writes and speaks for and before members of organizations such as the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia, the Condominium Home Owners’ Association of BC (CHOA), and others in the real estate and construction industries.
