On June 1, 2021, regulatory amendments introduced by the Financial Transactions & Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) will come into effect and create or change obligations for all reporting entities, including real estate brokerages.
On Wednesday, May 19, we were joined by Simon Parham, Legal Counsel for the Canadian Real Estate Association, who gave an overview of what’s coming and how to help ensure you and your brokerage are in compliance with the new and revised FINTRAC obligations.
