The 2018 Legal Update course has been awarded the 2018 ARELLO® Education Award for a Post-License/Continuing Education Course!

The highly regarded ARELLO® Communication and Education Awards are awarded each year in recognition of outstanding systems and programs that contribute to the real estate industry, promote public protection and can be adapted to benefit licensees and consumers in other ARELLO® member jurisdictions.

Competition for the Education and Communication Awards is keen every year, and applications are submitted from all over North America. The ARELLO® Education Certification Committee evaluates submissions based on concept, methodology, quality and benefits to the target audience.

Each year, in response to developments in real estate law, Council develops a timely and effective Legal Update course to ensure licensees understand the changing landscape in BC's real estate sector. This year, the Council and BCREA Education teams worked together with REEOIC, licensees and lawyers to redesign the Legal Update course to be more engaging and to include both an online and classroom component.

The result is an innovative program that enhances learner accessibility through a fully responsive design on every device size and resolution, provides meaningful custom reporting and ensures the competence of all licensees through its powerful assessment management component and full-day in-class session.

It is an honour to be awarded an ARELLO® Education Award and BCREA is thrilled to be acknowledged for the contributions that our Education team and contributors made to the 2018 Legal Update course.
