Officers

President
	Jennifer Lynch is a managing broker with Coast Realty Group and has been licensed since 1994. She has served on numerous committees, including the Business Practise Committee, and as a Director at the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board from 2003 to 2008, where she was also President in 2007. Jennifer is an active volunteer on BCREA committees including acting as Chair of the Professional Development Committee. Click here for a high-resolution photo.

President-Elect
	Jake Moldowan has been in the real estate industry for over 35 years and is President of RE/MAX Jake Moldowan Realty and Versatile Development Group in Richmond. He was the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver’s 2010-2011 President. Jake is an active volunteer on BCREA committees including as a member of the Human Resources Committee and as Chair of the Governance Committee.

Past President
	Jim McCaughan is a managing broker with Landmark Realty Corp and has been licensed since 1977. in Abbotsford. He has been a BCREA course instructor since 1986 and developed and wrote the BCREA Buyer Agency course, as well as two other agency courses. Jim has volunteered as President of both the Chilliwack and District and Fraser Valley Real Estate Boards. He also served as Chair of the Real Estate Council of BC and Chair of the Real Estate Errors and Omissions Insurance Corporation.

Chief Executive Officer
	Robert Laing joined the BCREA team in March 2000 as the Director of Government Relations, where he focused the efforts of BCREA and its Government Relations Committee to develop and maintain an effective, proactive government relations program. He became the Association’s Chief Executive Officer in 2002. For almost 30 years, Robert has served the real estate profession in the roles of lawyer, educator and liaison to all levels of government, crown corporations and regulatory bodies. Before joining BCREA, he was head of The University of British Columbia's Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration's Real Estate Division.

REALTOR® Directors

Claudia Holland, a representative at Re/Max Quesnel Realty, has been licensed since 1994. Claudia is Past President of the BC Northern Real Estate Board and was a member of the professional standards committee for ten years.

James Palanio, a managing broker of Re/Max Penticton Realty, has been licensed since 2002. He is an active community volunteer on city advisory boards, non profit societies and at sporting events.

Dick Pemberton, a sales associate with RE/MAX Real Estate Kamloops since 2006, has volunteered as a Director with the Kamloops and District Real Estate Association and was President in 2010.

K. Scott Russell has served as President of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver in 2009/2010 and a BCREA Director in the past. Active in the industry since 1980, he is a broker and owner of Sutton Group – Seafair Realty in Richmond.

Rosario Setticasi, a managing broker with Sutton Group, has been licensed since 1982, – West Coast Realty in North Vancouver. He has served as President of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver and on numerous board committees.

Jim Stewart has been licensed as a sales associate with Coast Realty Group Ltd. since 1993. He has served as a Vancouver Island Real Estate Board director, as its President in 2011 and as a BCREA Government Relations Committee member.

Public Directors

Donna Bridgeman, CA and MBA, served as Vice President of Investments and formerly VP Finance of Growthworks Capital prior to her retirement. Donna currently serves on the Board of the Vancouver Police Department and formerly was a board member of several high tech companies and not for profit organizations.

Sharon Bryan is Senior Director of Corporate Services at the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research. She has served as Director on the Provincial Health Services Authority and the BC Human Resources Management Association.
