In Navigating Transactions Involving Powers of Attorney and Executors, learners will gain the knowledge required to manage transactions proficiently involving powers of attorney (POAs) and executors.
The first half of the course details the concept and functions of a POA, delineating the rights and responsibilities it confers and the conditions under which it may be terminated. Practical guidelines are provided for REALTORS® working with POAs, supplemented by relevant legal case studies. Potential issues and best practices are also highlighted.
The second half of this course addresses transactions in which a Realtor works with an estate's executor. In this part, REALTORS® will gain insights into how to work effectively with executors. Common challenges and recommended practices are emphasized to ensure informed decision-making. Recent case law is also considered.
