Navigating Bill 44: Zoning, SSMUH and ADUs

This course equips REALTORS® with the knowledge and tools to confidently navigate the changing housing landscape under BC’s Bill 44 and related policy shifts. You’ll gain a practical understanding of new zoning entitlements for Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), triplexes, fourplexes, and sixplexes—including buildability factors, financing options, permitting pathways, and resale implications. 

 

Using real-world examples, mapping tools, and feasibility checklists, you’ll learn how to identify development potential, advise clients, and mitigate risks in small-scale housing projects. The course also addresses co-ownership agreements, strata titling restrictions, and how to serve clients ranging from individual homeowners to small-scale developers.
