Navigating Multiple Offers
Multiple offer scenarios can be among the most stressful situations your clients have to deal with. With the right preparation and strategies, however, you’ll be able to give your buyers the best chance of having their offer accepted, and help your sellers select the offer that’s best for them.
This 6 PDP Accredited hours course will help REALTORS® of all experience levels navigate through specific steps in client preparation, procedural requirements as legislated by the REALTOR® Code, Rules of Cooperation and RECBC Rules, and the sales processes involved in a multiple offer.
Using electronic polling, class discussions and case studies, participants will learn how to draft, prepare, and present a multiple offer to help maximize the outcome for their clients and help minimize the client perception that their offers were not dealt with fairly. Effective strategies will also be introduced to help increase the chance of success.

- Assist your Buyers, and/or Sellers increase their success in a multiple offer situation
- Describe the Rules of Cooperation, REALTOR® Code, and BC Real Estate Council procedural requirements and sales processes involving a multiple offer
- Explain your fiduciary duties to your client in a multiple offer situation
- Identify what constitutes a pre-emptive or bully offer and how to guide Sellers through the process
- Detect a badly written offer and how to effectively change it to a legal and binding offer.
- Recognize the problems with a referential offer and how to successfully handle them in a multiple offer situation
- Understand the potential challenges that often occur during the process of drafting and presenting multiple offers and apply effective strategies to help increase the chance of success
