The first half of the course details the concept and functions of a POA, delineating the rights and responsibilities it confers and the conditions under which it may be terminated. Practical guidelines are provided for REALTORS® working with POAs, supplemented by relevant legal case studies. Potential issues and best practices are also highlighted.

 

The second half of this course addresses transactions in which a Realtor works with an estate's executor. In this part, REALTORS® will gain insights into how to work effectively with executors. Common challenges and recommended practices are emphasized to ensure informed decision-making. Recent case law is also considered.
