Understanding Zoning and Development Approvals for REALTORS®

This course covers municipal zoning and its impact on future development potential for sites or neighborhoods. You'll discover how zoning operates and what a site can or can't be used for. Additionally, you'll explore the various pathways for development approval and key issues that influence development possibilities in Metro Vancouver. The course also addresses the effects of Provincial legislation (Bills 44 and 47) and related concerns, such as development cost charges and amenity contributions.

 

Understand how zoning affects your clients' plans and learn to guide them through the city approval process for development plans.
